Start with repeatable photography
Use even light, a stable camera position, and enough space around the item. Photograph the product itself accurately, including color and details buyers need to judge.
Make the background consistent
A background remover can create a transparent PNG that you place on a consistent color or scene. Review shadows, reflective surfaces, and fine edges; those details are often difficult to separate cleanly.
Check each marketplace specification
Image dimensions, allowed backgrounds, and composition rules vary by channel and can change. Confirm the current requirements for each store before uploading. Never use a cutout or composite that misrepresents the product.
